Role Overview
We are looking for a high-intent, field-facing leader to join a leading mobility and fleet management company in Bangalore. As Vendor Manager, you will spearhead the growth and management of our vendor partner network, ensuring high fleet utilization and seamless operations for major ride-hailing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and onboard new vendor partners, managing the entire lifecycle from lead to vehicle activation.
- Network Retention: Build long-term relationships with active partners, resolving grievances and operational escalations with high urgency.
- Performance Strategy: Monitor fleet health metrics, drive vehicle deployment, and implement improvement plans for underperforming vendors.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coach a vendor-facing field team of 5+ members, setting targets and reviewing productivity.
Requirements
- Experience: 6–10 years in Vendor Management, Partner Operations, or Logistics/Mobility.
- Language: Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory.
- Team Management: Proven track record of managing field teams and large-scale partner networks.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of collections, margins, and operational discipline.
- Data Fluency: Comfortable working with trackers, dashboards, and performance reporting.
