🔹 We’re Hiring: Manager - Vendor Development
Location: Satara

📌 Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Vendor Development & Procurement Professional to manage end to end sourcing activities, ensure on time material availability, drive cost optimization, and build strong vendor partnerships to meet project timelines and quality standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Ensure timely procurement & supply of components to complete projects as per Phase 1 and Phase 2 schedules.
• Drive negotiation, cost reduction, rejection reduction, and continuous quality improvement.
• Deliver sub contracted components on time in line with defined project milestones.
• Maintain detailed procurement documentation, MIS, and records.
• Develop new vendors and ensure GRN clearance within 24 hours.
• Conduct vendor assessment, shortlisting, blacklisting, vendor training, and site inspections.
• Coordinate closely with QA, Fabrication, Machine Shop, Logistics, and other cross functional teams.
• Actively resolve vendor queries to ensure quality compliance and on time delivery.
• Build and sustain long term relationships with company approved vendors.
• Meet prospective and existing vendors to:
o Evaluate products and services
o Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
o Communicate quality, delivery, or service concerns
• Conduct market and vendor research to identify competitive suppliers.
• Implement effective vendor selection and onboarding programs.
• Clearly communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations to approved vendors.
• Assess vendor performance using a structured Vendor Rating Process.
• Evaluate and improve vendor management systems and processes continuously.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
• Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in procurement, vendor development, or supply chain management (preferably in manufacturing/engineering industries)
