Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vendor Development Engineer located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves sourcing and developing new vendors, negotiating contracts, optimizing vendor relationships, analyzing vendor performance, and ensuring supply chain efficiency. Additional responsibilities include conducting vendor audits, ensuring compliance with company standards, and supporting cross-functional teams such as sales and operations to meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Planning capabilities for strategic decision-making and vendor management
- Exceptional Analytical Skills for evaluating vendor performance, market trends, and operational efficiencies
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Experience in Sales and a demonstrated ability to negotiate and maintain vendor relationships
- Proficiency in Training vendors and other stakeholders to maintain quality and standards
- Understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred)
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
