Are you detail-oriented and passionate about delivering polished, accurate, and high-quality digital experiences? Vendasta is looking for an AI Website Quality Controller Associate to serve as the final checkpoint for AI-generated websites before they reach our Partners.

About The Job

The AI Website Quality Controller Specialist ensures that all websites developed and maintained by Vendasta meet exceptional standards of quality, functionality, and performance.

This role exists to uphold the integrity of Vendasta's website offerings through structured QA practices, continuous optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

It supports the delivery of reliable digital experiences that align with client expectations and business goals.

You will begin building fluency with internal tools and workflows, including guided use of AI-driven quality checks and website analysis in this role.

Note

This role requires working in CST shift hours, from 7 : 30 PM to 4 : 30 AM IST, at our Chennai office (Work from Office).

Your Impact

As an AI Website Quality Specialist, you'll :

• Conduct rigorous testing of website functionality, compatibility, and performance across platforms and browsers.
• Ensure technical elements such as plugins, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript meet quality and user standards.
• Maintain quality assurance policies and testing protocols for consistency.
• Collaborate with web developers to validate changes and promptly resolve issues.
• Identify patterns in recurring issues and assist in root cause analysis to enhance QA processes.
• Contribute to improvements in design, speed, and mobile responsiveness of websites.
• Assist in integrating AI tools (e.g., for visual regression testing, code analysis) into QA workflows under guidance.
• Stay updated on QA and web development trends to inform better practices.
• Participate in onboarding calls to understand client requirements for QA integration.
• Communicate testing results clearly, including documentation of defects and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align QA efforts with broader product goals.
• Engage in feedback loops to capture client satisfaction and prioritize improvements.
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• 4+ years of experience in web production or QA.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and QA platforms.
• Familiarity with Divi, Elementor, WooCommerce, and website performance/SEO fundamentals.
• High attention to detail and an analytical mindset for identifying and documenting issues.
• Emerging comfort with guided use of AI tools to support QA tasks (e.g., prompt-based testing, auto-checks).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Proactive learner with an interest in website trends and automation tools.
• Uses AI tools with guidance (e.g., prompt-based web checkers, content verifiers).
• Executes AI-driven tasks with support from team members.
• Builds foundational skills in interpreting AI recommendations for site QA.
