Your Impact

As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you'll collaborate closely with the Finance and People Operations teams to:

• Assist in processing end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
• Accurately execute salary changes, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records while ensuring compliance with tax laws, employment standards, and reporting requirements.
• Support the timely preparation and submission of government remittances (e.g., CPP, EI, income tax, WCB).
• Conduct payroll checks and audits to proactively identify and correct discrepancies.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
• Work with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth administration of group benefits and pension plans.
• Maintain payroll and HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Identify opportunities to enhance payroll and benefits processes through automation and system improvements.
• Assist in preparing payroll-related reports for audits, budgeting, and compliance purposes.
• Support year-end payroll processes, including tax form preparation and distribution.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle payroll and benefits inquiries efficiently.
