Roles & Responsibilities:

Purpose:

1.    To support in proposing suitable brake system for customer new model vehicle using appropriate input data & datasheet software to meet regulation /customer requirements (as applicable).

2.    To support in validating brake system on vehicle using appropriate tools/instruments, analyze to check its conformance to regulatory / customer requirements.

Functional:

1.    Support in studying RFQ, clarify, discuss with internal/external customers, and summarize customer requirements/issues.

2.    To coordinate for JRN from originator to initiate datasheet preparation.

3.    Complete filling up of necessary inputs in JRN, agree upon completion date to get approval from concerned section head as applicable.

4.    Initiate preliminary system sizing and discuss with respective section head to finalize the proposal.

5.    Prepare detailed performance comparison / datasheet.

6.    Release JRN in PLM referred to performance comparison / datasheet sent to customer to close the JRN.

7.    Prepare an appropriate DVP to carry out Installation/validation of brake aggregates / system.

8.    Organize for test vehicle, instruments and other supporting resources to carryout the test.

9.    Organize for vehicle preparation to fit Instruments, brakes and other aggregates.

10. Maintain customer test vehicle properly and ensure maximum utilization as per agreed timeline.

11. Carry out testing as per the agreed test plan.

12. Compile test/performance test characteristics after downloading of test data, post processing to do analysis.

13. Analyze test data and review with team lead to establish outcome of test.

14. Organize necessary equipment/samples to carry out joint Vehicle development trials at Customer end.

15. Analyze, carry out necessary DOE to identify the root cause of various New product validation failures / Field Failures.

16. Participate in customer vehicle validation, installation / fitment study at OEM EOL & field visit for warranty/customer complaints

🔍 Preferred Candidate Profile: BE / B.Tech in: Automobile Engineering / Production & Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Robotics & Automation / Mechatronics / Manufacturing Engineering with Minimum 2 years of Experience in Vehicle Testing / Validation.
