Scrapio Auto is a MoRTH-registered, RVSF-certified vehicle scrapping facility in Jaipur, operating under India's Vehicle Scrappage Policy. We help vehicle owners responsibly retire their end-of-life vehicles handling valuation, documentation, pickup, and government-certified scrapping end to end. We're building a professional, compliant, tech-enabled operation, and we're growing our procurement team.
About the Role
You'll speak with vehicle owners who have already shown interest in selling or scrapping their vehicle. This is not a cold-calling role you work warm, inbound leads. Your job is to understand the vehicle, explain our process, agree a fair price, and convert the lead into a confirmed pickup. You'll be the owner's main point of contact from first call to closed deal.
Note: we buy vehicles for scrapping, so pricing is based on scrap value plus the government COD (Certificate of Deposit) benefit not resale value. If you're from a resale background, you'll pick this up quickly, but it's a different valuation logic worth knowing going in.
What you'll do
- Call and follow up with warm leads from vehicle owners interested in selling/scrapping
- Capture vehicle details: model, year, condition, RC status, ownership, loan/hypothecation, insurance, and document availability
- Explain the scrapping and procurement process clearly and build trust
- Negotiate and agree a fair purchase price
- Convert leads into confirmed procurement deals and coordinate documentation and pickup
- Handle objections around price, documents, payment, and process
- Maintain accurate lead status in CRM / Sheets / WhatsApp / internal software
- Follow up consistently until the vehicle is procured or the lead is closed
- Coordinate smoothly between the customer and our field, documentation, and pickup teams
What we're looking for
- Strong calling, follow-up, and closing ability, a closer, not just a caller
- Comfortable talking to vehicle owners on phone and WhatsApp and building quick rapport
- Basic understanding of vehicles, vehicle pricing, and vehicle documents (RC, insurance, ownership)
- Disciplined, target-oriented, and organised with lead records
- Fluent Hindi is essential; basic English and local language are a plus
Preferred background
- Experience at Cars24, Spinny, CarDekho, OLX Autos, or similar used-car / vehicle platforms
- Used-car purchase, dealership, or automobile showroom sales experience
- Vehicle evaluation, vehicle finance, loan recovery, or insurance sales experience
- Telesales, inside sales, or lead-conversion roles in the automobile sector
Incentives
Fixed Salary and Performance incentives based on vehicles procured, lead-to-deal conversion ratio, follow-up quality, documentation accuracy, and monthly targets.
