VEED Senior Product Designer

While the core product team at VEED looks after the different areas of our product, Growth at VEED champions different parts of our users' journey that span across all parts of the product. You will work closely with other growth & core product teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders to drive massive impact for VEED You'll join as a Senior Product Designer within VEED You will oversee initiatives that drive user activation and accelerate monetization. You'll work within cross functional teams, with Product Managers, Engineers and Growth Marketers You will work horizontally across the entire VEED Ecosystem to drive business results, and you'll be responsible for optimizing many parts of the core product, understanding the value of the product and its features Some of the initiatives that you will take part in include improving our onboarding experience, building innovative user activation features and strategies, and running experiments across our upgrade, pricing and payment journeys to optimize conversion rates You'll be responsible for working through design problems from beginning to end, gathering multiple perspectives, translating insights from data and research into design solutions Product designers at VEED take responsibility every step of the way, from problem solving through to detailed UI and visual design, working closely with engineers and product managers to build, iterate and ship ideas Own product design across Monetization & Activation Lead end-to-end product design from ideation and co-creation, to problem framing and implementation, including prototyping, user testing and visual design Spearhead research initiatives of different kinds (exploratory work, usability testing, etc) Operate across user funnels to ****evaluate and design a holistic user experience Test ideas and run experiments that grow key metrics across our user journeys Drive decisions based on data and research. Take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific platform demands to produce data-informed solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams including growth and core product teams across the entire product development lifecycle Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to change paths and try another approach

Video is the fastest-growing form of content on the internet, with 78% of people watching online videos every week, and 55% every day. Editing video, however, remains a pain point for creators and marketers alike – who have to rely on bloated legacy platforms, the same tools used for feature films. VEED is an online tool that aims to make video editing as simple as possible. With a user interface stripped down to the bare essentials, VEED allows creators and marketers to edit videos, add subtitles and credits, and share and distribute the end product. By specifically focusing on the needs of a social media-first audience, the founding team have created a product that integrates seamlessly with key platforms and can be used without training. The platform has grown significantly since its launch in 2018, and now boasts hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, and month-to-month growth. The founders have ambitious growth plans for the coming decade as they build out their team and grow their user base to become the online video editing platform of choice.
