Oracle Eloqua Developer / Integration Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Eloqua Developer / Integration Specialist to lead the development and integration of Eloqua with other enterprise systems, including CRMs (Salesforce, Dynamics 365), ERP, customer data platforms (CDPs), and external applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing automation, REST/SOAP APIs, and data orchestration in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between Oracle Eloqua and third-party systems (CRM, ERP, analytics, websites, etc.).
  
• Work with Eloqua APIs (Bulk API, REST API, SOAP API) to build data pipelines for contact, lead, campaign, and activity sync.
  
• Create custom objects, field mapping, data imports/exports, and Eloqua programmatic assets (forms, campaigns, emails, landing pages).
  
• Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to align integration efforts with lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign goals.
  
• Automate data normalization, enrichment, and cleansing processes using Eloqua Program Canvas and Campaign Canvas.
  
• Support lead capture and attribution models across channels.
  
• Implement web tracking, cookie management, and behavioural insights integration (if applicable).
  
• Document integration architecture, develop error handling and logging for robust, fault-tolerant data flows.
  
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, PECR, and other data protection requirements in all integrations.
  

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Eloqua (campaigns, segmentation, assets, lead scoring).
  
• Proficient in Eloqua REST/SOAP/Bulk API integration techniques.
  
• Strong background in marketing automation concepts, customer journeys, lead nurturing, and engagement scoring.
  
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Logic Apps) and data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, SnapLogic) is a plus.
  
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle Sales Cloud).
  
• Experience with JSON, XML, SQL, JavaScript, and server-side scripting.
  
• Understanding of data privacy laws, especially GDPR.
  
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
  

Desirable Experience

• Experience integrating Eloqua with:
  
• Salesforce or Dynamics 365 (e.g., using native CRM integration or custom middleware).
  
• Content management platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress).
  
• Web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  
• Event platforms (e.g., ON24, Cvent).
  
• Eloqua certification (Oracle Marketing Cloud certification) is advantageous.
  
• Previous work in B2B or regulated sectors (e.g., finance, health, utilities).
