Position Description
Position Name: VDI Support Engineer
Experience: 3–6 Years (or relevant experience)

We are seeking a VDI Support Engineer with strong experience in supporting enterprise VDI environments. The candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting virtual desktop platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for end users.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Provide support and maintenance for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
Manage and troubleshoot VMware Horizon View and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to user login, performance, printing, and profile management.
Monitor system performance using VDI monitoring tools.
Manage user access and policies using Active Directory and Group Policies.
Support Windows operating systems including Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to resolve complex issues.
Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
Maintain system documentation and support operational best practices.
Must Have Skills
Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon.
Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenDesktop/XenApp).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11 and Windows Server).
Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS.
Experience troubleshooting login issues, performance problems, printing issues, and profile errors.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with VDI monitoring and performance management tools.
Familiarity with ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Knowledge of virtualization infrastructure and enterprise desktop management.
Experience working in large enterprise VDI environments.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and within IT support teams.
Experience working in enterprise infrastructure environments.
