We are looking for experienced VB.NET Developers, Senior Developers, and Technical Leads to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise business applications built on VB.NET and SQL Server technologies.

Depending on experience level, the role will involve hands-on development, solution design, performance optimization, and technical leadership, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.

Candidates will work across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while collaborating with business stakeholders, QA teams, DevOps teams, and project managers to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business applications using VB.NET and related .NET technologies.
• Build and optimize SQL Server database components including stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and performance-tuned queries.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL and data integration workflows.
• Build and support UI components using Angular and JavaScript, ensuring maintainability and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Technical Design & Solution Development

• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and development tasks.
• Implement scalable and maintainable architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Contribute to application integration, batch processing, and data workflows.
• Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical problem-solving.

Code Quality & Engineering Practices

• Ensure high code quality through:
• Clean coding practices
• Structured error handling
• Unit testing and defect prevention
• Peer code reviews
• Apply engineering best practices including:
• SOLID principles
• Secure coding practices
• Performance optimization techniques
• Maintain proper documentation and design artifacts.

SDLC & Delivery Execution

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including:
• Requirement analysis
• Technical design
• Development
• Testing
• Deployment
• Production support
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and release teams to ensure smooth deployments and stable production releases.
• Support UAT cycles, production rollouts, and post-release stabilization.

Technical Leadership (Senior Developers / Leads)

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure technical quality.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution decisions.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents.
• Ensure delivery timelines while minimizing technical debt.

Required Technical Skills

Core Technologies

• VB.NET / .NET Framework – Strong hands-on development experience
• SQL Server – Advanced database development, query optimization, and troubleshooting
• Angular – Working knowledge of components, services, routing, bindings
• JavaScript – Strong practical knowledge in modern web development
• SSIS – Experience developing and supporting ETL/data integration workflows

Algorithms & Problem Solving

Strong understanding of:

• Data structures
• Logical reasoning
• Efficient and complexity-aware coding approaches

SDLC & Engineering Practices

• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and development workflows
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Familiarity with:
• Version control tools (Git, TFS, Azure DevOps or similar)

• Documentation and traceability standards

• Experience with ASP.NET (WebForms / MVC / Web APIs / .NET Core)
