Role Description The VAS Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Chandigarh, responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, and performance of VAS offerings. This role includes managing product roadmaps, coordinating with telecom operators, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality entertainment and e-commerce services. The VAS Director will analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and refine existing services. Daily responsibilities involve stakeholder management, performance tracking of active services, budget and resource management, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. The role also requires mentoring team members, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across all VAS initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in VAS product management, service design, and lifecycle management within telecom or digital services.
- Experience in entertainment and e-commerce domains, including content monetization, digital distribution, and customer engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and market research to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
- Solid understanding of telecom technologies, platforms, and integrations relevant to VAS delivery.
- Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with partners, and drive commercial outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Telecommunications, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
