Software Engineer, Data Engineering

As a Software Engineer, Data Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing data pipelines and infrastructure to support our business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and build scalable solutions to meet their needs. Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and infrastructure - Develop and optimize ETL processes, data transformation, and data integration workflows - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Ensure data quality, reliability, and security throughout the data lifecycle - Contribute to the evolution and adoption of best practices, tools, and technologies in the data engineering domain - Mentor and guide junior team members to foster growth and knowledge sharing Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field - Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow) - Experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions - Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) - Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data security best practices - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
