Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Valve Design Engineer, based in Thane. The Valve Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing new valve products, improving existing designs, and working on project specifications. Daily tasks include creating and reviewing engineering drawings using CAD, conducting feasibility studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, and supporting the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards. Regular interactions with relevant teams to address technical challenges are also expected.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, along with the ability to ideate and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and familiarity with principles related to valve mechanics.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and creating detailed engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; a higher qualification will be an asset.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering solutions adhering to high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with fire-protection systems and the relevant standards and certifications is a plus.
