About the Role

The role will lead defined value-creation projects and support larger enterprise programmes, combining rigorous analysis with hands-on implementation. This is suited to someone who enjoys moving quickly from problem definition and analysis to business case, decision and delivery. The successful candidate will work directly with functional leaders across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Technology and other areas to turn opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Value creation and analytics
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities across revenue, margin, cost, cash and complexity.
- Build robust business cases and financial models, including baselines, sensitivities, implementation costs, payback and expected benefits.
- Conduct market, operational and financial analysis to support senior-management decisions.
- Work with Finance to ensure opportunities are credibly quantified and benefits can be tracked through the P&L and cash flow.
- Identify dependencies, risks and potential overlap across initiatives.
Project and transformation delivery
- Lead selected cross-functional value-creation initiatives from diagnosis through implementation and benefit realisation.
- Translate opportunities into clear workplans, milestones, accountabilities and decision points.
- Coordinate functional teams and external advisers to maintain pace and resolve delivery barriers.
- Prepare concise, decision-oriented materials for senior leadership.
- Monitor progress, identify value at risk and support corrective action with initiative owners.
- Maintain pragmatic governance focused on outcomes rather than activity.
Commercial and operational improvement
- Support analysis of distributor economics, pricing/G2N, freight, inventory and other commercial or supply-chain opportunities.
- Analyse product, market and channel economics to identify areas where performance can be improved.
- Support operating-model and process reviews, including workload, cost-to-serve, sourcing and organisational analysis.
- Work with subject-matter experts to translate functional opportunities into quantified business cases and implementation plans.
Process, digital and automation
- Support redesign of priority end-to-end processes, ensuring simplification occurs before technology or automation is applied.
- Identify manual activity, process bottlenecks and opportunities for workflow, automation and AI.
- Help evaluate SAP and technology improvements based on business value, control, productivity and implementation effort.
- Support assessment of technology vendors, applications and external spend where relevant.
Benefits realisation
- Maintain clear baselines and value tracking for assigned initiatives.
- Track identified, committed, forecast and realised benefits.
- Monitor investment requirements, implementation costs and payback.
- Provide clear reporting on progress, risks and financial impact.
Qualifications

Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in value creation, strategy, performance improvement, transformation, corporate development, transaction advisory or a similar analytical environment.
- Experience from a leading consulting firm, private-equity portfolio company, corporate strategy/value-creation team or performance-improvement environment would be highly attractive.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience building business cases and financial models.
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyse complex data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Experience delivering cross-functional projects through implementation, not simply producing analysis or recommendations.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Confidence working across different functions, cultures and geographies.
- A proactive, low-ego and hands-on working style with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to challenge constructively while building trusted relationships with functional leaders.
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or life sciences is advantageous but not essential.
