Role Description:
Valuation Manager – Land & Building will oversee and execute valuation assignments for real estate assets, including land parcels, residential properties, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, gathering technical and legal documentation, performing market research and comparative analysis, and applying appropriate valuation methodologies and standards. The role involves preparing detailed valuation reports, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and professional guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi.
Qualifications
- B.Tech in Civil
- Strong technical expertise in land and building valuation, including real estate market analysis, cost and income approaches, and understanding of regulatory frameworks and valuation standards.
- Proficiency in conducting site inspections, assessing physical and legal attributes of properties, and interpreting architectural drawings, title documents, and statutory approvals.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured valuation reports, with strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and client-handling skills, including the ability to explain valuation conclusions, manage stakeholder expectations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality and compliance under pressure.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in civil engineering, architecture, real estate, finance, or a related field; registration or certification as a valuer in Land & Building is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in valuation, real estate consulting, or related fields, preferably with exposure to IBBI or similar regulatory environments.
- Comfort with using valuation tools, spreadsheets, and standard office software; familiarity with geographic information systems or real estate databases is an advantage.
