About the role
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting inventory control, ensuring that all materials are properly put away.
- Stocks inventory items in various warehouse locations.
- Performs accurate cycle counts and random spot checks to maintain integrity of inventory accountability.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate inventory reports to management team.
- Assist with the coordination of inventory projects as needed.
- Ability to work well with warehouse distribution employees and production.
- Responsible for making sure warehouse inventory areas are clean, organized and items are clearly identified.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees and departments.
- Ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and work alone or in a team setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Ability to work with numbers and be accurate in reporting information.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in normal office/warehouse environment.
- Ability to maneuver throughout the warehouse, walk, stand, bend, twist, lift and carry
