Description
Job Summary:
Feeds an industrial folding machine to fold flags.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to operate the folding machine to optimal production standards.
- Must be able to identify and correct machine operating deficiencies and adjust as necessary.
- Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate with production and management regarding status of production.
- Must be able to feed flags into folding machine in a straight manner.
- Must be able to keep an eye on the machine, the product going through the machine and verify that the folds are coming out of the machine correctly.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other employees as to status of production.
- Must be comfortable with and be able to apply quality standards to folded products.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
Physical Requirements:
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to stand for long periods to time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and lift arms overhead.
- Must be able to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of this job.
