We are currently seeking a Validation & Cutlist Manager to join our client's team in Chennai.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2–5+ years of experience in cutlist preparation, modular interiors, or interior manufacturing
• Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, or customized furniture manufacturing
• Strong coordination skills to work with design, factory, and procurement teams
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Validation & Cutlist Manager to bridge the gap between design and factory production by converting interior design drawings into precise, production-ready cutlists. This role is critical in ensuring that 2D/3D designs are accurately translated into optimized material cutting plans, minimizing wastage, improving production efficiency, and ensuring flawless factory execution. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in modular furniture, production validation, material planning, and manufacturing coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate cutlists for modular furniture and interior projects
• Validate design drawings for dimensions, material specifications, hardware requirements, edge banding, and joinery feasibility
• Convert design layouts into factory-ready production documentation for CNC and manufacturing teams
• Optimize material utilization to reduce wastage and improve production efficiency
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOM), Material Requirement Notes (MRN), and cutting plans
• Coordinate with design, production, and factory teams to ensure smooth execution
• Review and verify laminates, veneers, plywood, hardware, and fitting specifications
• Identify design or production discrepancies before manufacturing begins
• Maintain documentation accuracy, inventory coordination, and project records
• Ensure quality control by minimizing cutlist errors, production delays, and rework
Required Skills:
• Experience with modular furniture software
• Strong understanding of modular interiors, woodworking materials, and manufacturing processes
• Expertise in cutlist preparation, production validation, and material optimization
• Knowledge of CNC production requirements and factory workflow
• BOM, MRN, and inventory documentation skills
