What you will be doing:
Prospect & Qualify Leads: Identify potential clients through outbound research and inbound lead qualification to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Engagement & Outreach: Initiate and manage outbound contact (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) with potential clients to introduce Vahan’s AI-powered hiring platform and services.
Needs Analysis: Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand their hiring challenges and assess alignment with Vahan's solutions.
Lead Nurturing: Build and maintain relationships with leads, staying up-to-date with their needs and readiness to engage with our Account Executives.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine outreach strategies and optimize messaging.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and lead information in the CRM (Salesforce).
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and Vahan’s target market to identify potential opportunities and refine outreach efforts.


You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an SDR or similar sales role within a SaaS, tech, or AI company is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage prospects and deliver compelling messages.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and familiarity with sales engagement tools.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with a strong drive for results.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, talent acquisition, and/or the HR tech space is a plus.
