The contract works within a psychologically informed framework.Key responsibilities: The role of the General Catering Assistant is to assist the cook in offering the residents a good nutritional and appealing cost-effective menu. To keep the kitchen clean and tidy and running smoothly, prep work and some cooking will have to be undertaken.You will be working with the Cook, Service Manager and Administrator to ensure services are of a high quality with cost effectiveness.The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:RespectCompassionMotivationGood verbal and written communication skillsAverage Computer skillsCommitmentFlexibilityHave good record keeping skillsA catering qualification (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards it, is essential
