Role Description The Vacancies of Assistant Professors in HRIT University role involves full-time, on-site teaching and academic responsibilities at the Ghaziabad campus. Day-to-day tasks include delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and practical sessions, preparing course materials, and evaluating student performance through assignments, exams, and projects. Assistant Professors are expected to engage in academic advising and mentoring, support curriculum development, contribute to departmental meetings, and participate in university initiatives and committees. The role may also include involvement in research activities, publication of scholarly work, and collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and academic outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, or related fields) and the ability to teach at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Demonstrated teaching abilities, including lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and use of modern instructional methods and educational technologies.
- Research aptitude with interest in publishing in academic journals, participating in conferences, and contributing to the scholarly reputation of the university.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
- Relevant academic qualifications, typically a postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s in the relevant discipline) and, where applicable, compliance with national regulatory and accreditation requirements; a Ph.D. or progress toward a Ph.D. is preferred.
