We are looking for a UX/UI Research Specialist who understands how users interact with modern web applications and can translate real user behavior into clear product insights.
This is a research-driven role for someone who approaches product design through evidence, usability testing, and structured analysis. Your work will focus on studying user behavior, identifying friction in product experiences, and helping teams build more intuitive and effective web applications.
The ideal candidate combines strong research methodology with practical product thinking. You should be comfortable analyzing user journeys, running usability studies, evaluating design flows, and delivering insights that directly influence product decisions.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and founders to ensure web applications are built around real user needs rather than assumptions.
Responsibilities
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research across web applications
• Plan and run usability tests, user interviews, surveys, and behavioral studies
• Analyze user journeys, navigation flows, and interaction patterns within web apps
• Identify usability issues, friction points, and experience gaps
• Evaluate wireframes, prototypes, and live products to provide research-backed feedback
• Translate research findings into clear, actionable product recommendations
• Produce structured research reports and usability insights for product teams
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to validate design decisions through testing
• Analyze behavioral data from analytics tools to understand drop-off points and user behavior
• Conduct competitive UX research and benchmark web application experiences
• Help improve onboarding flows, navigation structures, and interaction patterns
• Document research frameworks, insights, and recommendations clearly
Requirements
• 3 plus years of experience in UX research, usability research, or product research
• Strong understanding of web application UX patterns and usability principles
• Experience conducting usability testing, interviews, surveys, and behavioral research
• Ability to analyze user flows and identify usability problems
• Experience working with product and design teams in a collaborative environment
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
• Experience working with SaaS products or complex web applications
• Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Hotjar, FullStory, Mixpanel, or similar behavioral analytics tools
• Experience running usability experiments or product testing frameworks
• Experience collaborating closely with product design teams
• Startup or fast-moving product team experience
