Role Description The UX Designer – Unpaid Internship is a full-time remote role focused on supporting the design and improvement of digital experiences for Identicube’s clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting and synthesizing user research, helping define user journeys and information architecture, and contributing to wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows. The intern will collaborate with visual designers, developers, and project leads to ensure UX solutions align with project goals and brand guidelines. This role also involves preparing design documentation, iterating based on feedback, and assisting in usability testing and analysis to refine the overall user experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) skills to frame problems, define user needs, and shape intuitive digital journeys.
- Candidates should possess User Research skills, including planning studies, conducting interviews or surveys, and analyzing findings to inform design decisions.
- Candidates should possess Visual Design skills to support the creation of clear, engaging interfaces that align with brand identity and design systems.
- Candidates should possess Prototyping skills to build low- and high-fidelity prototypes for testing, iteration, and stakeholder reviews.
- Familiarity with UX/UI tools (such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) and basic knowledge of responsive web or mobile design principles are beneficial.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a design, HCI, or related program is preferred, along with a portfolio demonstrating UX and interaction design work.
