About The Role
The UX Designer at Dover India will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation initiatives of the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in user experience design, capable of leading creative development and implementing innovative solutions across cloud and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the design and development of intuitive, user-centric interfaces that enhance the overall customer and internal user experience. Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in UX design, with a proven track record of creating innovative and effective digital solutions, is required. The candidate must have extensive experience in developing user workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed documentation that clearly articulate functional and non-functional requirements. Strong understanding of fundamental computing system design principles is essential to optimize performance and usability. The ability to lead, influence, and mentor teams of engineers and designers is vital, along with excellent communication skills to interface effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate a strategic mindset, ownership mentality, and the ability to handle ambiguity and resolve deficiencies efficiently.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the UX Designer include actively participating in Dover’s digital product portfolio and executing transformational initiatives that enhance digital capabilities. The role involves hands-on leadership in creative design, solution development, and implementation across cloud and mobile environments. The candidate will drive communication efforts by accurately reporting product scenarios to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business goals. They will lead a team of engineers on technical and product design issues, including styling, library creation, and development best practices. Balancing between hands-on development, technical design reviews, mentoring, and training, the UX Designer will break down complex requirements into user flows and traceability in both design and implementation. The role requires close collaboration with agile teams or PODs to define development milestones and ensure timely delivery. Additionally, the candidate will interface with customers, partners, and business stakeholders to manage escalations, maintain product quality, and identify opportunities for system and end-to-end integration to facilitate smooth deployment of digital solutions.
