Medical Instructional Designer

UWorld is seeking a Medical Instructional Designer to join our growing Preparation team. As a Medical Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging learning content that helps our medical students and professionals achieve success on their exams and in their careers. This role requires strong instructional design and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of adult learning principles and medical education best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling, multimedia-rich learning content for medical exams and curricula - Design effective learning activities, assessments, and user experiences that promote knowledge retention and skill development - Leverage data insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of our learning products - Manage multiple projects and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content - Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in medical education, instructional design, and digital learning Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in the medical/healthcare domain - Proficient in developing multimedia-rich learning content, including videos, animations, and interactive assessments - Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field - Experience working in the medical/healthcare industry or with medical professionals - Familiarity with learning management systems and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) - Understanding of adult learning theories and best practices in medical education About UWorld: UWorld is a leading provider of online learning tools and test preparation resources.
