Seasonal Hire - Java Web Application Development (up to Full Time)

UTHealth Houston's Information Technology department is looking for an employee who will be an hourly and entry-level person to work in our Java Application and Development team. This is a full-time role, but it is classified as seasonal. It is perfect for a student, someone switching careers, or those needing flexibility. 

This is a seasonal position, meaning it is intended to last only four or five months at most. It is paid hourly, and is not offered insurance or retirement benefits. You do get a discount on parking at our facilities.  

 

Position Key Accountabilities:

Assist the department with basic needs related to programming and learning Java. 

 

Minimum Education:

Must have at least a high school education and should be studying programming as part of their curriculum. 

 

 

Minimum Experience:

No experience is required beyond a basic programming introduction and an interest in this area of Information Technology. 

 

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.

Provides medical education, biomedical research, and clinical healthcare services.
