Data Scientist

Designs and implements analytical methodologies for a multi-modal transit agency to optimize operations, enhance passenger experience, and support data-driven decisions. Leads efforts to improve data quality and workflows, collaborating with the Data Strategy team on modeling, governance, and complex systems focused on UTA's ridership. Mentors team members, partners with departments to address data needs, and effectively communicates insights to leadership. Compiles report submissions as part of UTA's certification processes. Supports the implementation and integration of UTA's hardware and software associated with ridership. An emphasis on data engineering will occur from time to time to support UTA's data journey.
