Roles and Responsibilities
Design and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
Identify, log, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand functionality, resolve defects, and validate solutions.
Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not affect existing functionalities.
Participate in requirement analysis and design review sessions to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
Ensure software compliance with testing standards, procedures, and methodologies.
Document and present clear and detailed test reports to stakeholders.
Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and compatibility testing as per project requirements.
Monitor test execution results, verify bug fixes, and ensure product quality before release.
Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
Evaluate software products against predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Mentor and support junior QA members to build a strong testing team.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of experience in software QA and testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
Experience with manual testing and basic automation frameworks.
Experience in regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience in healthcare domain or HIPAA-compliant applications.
Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
ISTQB Certification or any other relevant QA certifications.
