Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a User Interface Designer at Superfan Ng (SPNG). The User Interface Designer will create intuitive, visually engaging interfaces for Superfan’s web and mobile experiences, aligned with brand guidelines and product goals. Day-to-day tasks include designing layouts, components, and interaction states; producing high-quality mockups and design systems; and collaborating with product, UX, and engineering teams to translate concepts into usable interfaces. The role involves iterating on designs based on user feedback and data, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness, and supporting front-end implementation with clear specifications and assets. The designer will help shape an experience that is culturally resonant, easy to navigate, and enjoyable for learners across regions and devices.
Qualifications
- Strong User Interface Design and Visual Design skills for web and mobile products.
- Experience creating detailed Mockups, design systems, and UI components.
- Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and ability to collaborate with UX practitioners.
- Basic to intermediate Front-End Development familiarity (e.g., HTML, CSS, design handoff tools) to support effective implementation.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and asset management workflows.
- Ability to design for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance across devices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Relevant experience in product design or UI design; a portfolio showcasing interface work is required.
- Interest in African languages, cultures, or edtech is a strong plus.
