Job Summary
Shriram General Insurance is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer to design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. The role involves collaborating with UX designers, developers, and product teams to create engaging and consistent digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with UX designers and product teams to translate user requirements into design solutions.
- Ensure consistency in design elements, style guides, and branding across all digital platforms.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve user interfaces.
- Stay updated with the latest UI trends, tools, and technologies.
- Optimize designs for responsiveness and cross-platform compatibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI design work for web and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of design principles including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first design approaches.
- Familiarity with basic front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
- Familiarity with UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of interaction design and prototyping tools.
- Experience working in Agile or collaborative product development environments.
