Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a User Interface Designer at Farmekart.in. The User Interface Designer will create intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile products, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design standards. Day-to-day tasks include producing wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, collaborating with UX designers and developers, and refining layouts, typography, and color systems based on feedback and user insights. The role involves working closely with front-end engineers to ensure designs are feasible and accurately implemented, conducting design reviews, and iterating on interfaces to improve usability and engagement. The designer will also contribute to design documentation and help maintain a shared design system.
Qualifications
- Strong User Interface Design skills, including creation of modern, responsive interfaces.
- Proficiency in Visual Design, with a solid grasp of layout, color, typography, and iconography.
- Experience creating detailed Mockups and wireframes using industry-standard design tools.
- Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and ability to collaborate on user-centered workflows.
- Basic knowledge of Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, and common frameworks) to ensure practical implementation of designs.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant UI design work for web or mobile applications; experience in product or platform design is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
