About The Role
We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Studio Jadu. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing engaging, user-friendly interfaces for our next-generation video tools powered by GenAI technology. Your work will directly influence how creators interact with our products, ensuring an intuitive experience that simplifies complex functionalities. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in collaborative environments. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and creative teams to translate user needs and technological capabilities into elegant design solutions that elevate user satisfaction and product excellence.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in product design, gained through full-time roles, internships, or significant project work.
- Formal education in design, media, art, HCI, or related fields from a recognized university, design school, or equivalent academic program.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating your ability to conceptualize, design, and refine user interfaces—highlighting real-world products if available.
- Strong understanding of visual design fundamentals, including layout, spacing, typography, and information hierarchy.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with the ability to create flows, wireframes, UI designs, and prototypes independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design improvements that enhance product usability and appeal.
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on user interfaces for our video creation tools, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with user needs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define design requirements and translate them into functional prototypes and final designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform iterative design improvements.
- Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and visual specifications that communicate design concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain consistency in visual language and design standards across all products and features.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design to continuously enhance our offerings.
- Participate in design reviews, team brainstorming sessions, and contribute creatively to the overall product strategy.
