Job Title: UI/UX Designer (Part-Time / Student Role)
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to help design intuitive and engaging digital experiences. You will work closely with the founding team to design clean, modern interfaces and improve overall product usability. This role involves translating ideas and product requirements into thoughtful user experiences and visually appealing designs.
This position is best suited for a 3rd or 4th year college student who already has some hands-on experience through projects, internships, or freelance work, and is looking to further develop their portfolio by working on a real product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces for digital products
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity design mockups
- Translate product ideas and requirements into intuitive UI/UX designs
- Continuously improve user experience through testing, feedback, and iteration
- Maintain consistency across screens through design systems and components
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Contribute ideas to improve usability, navigation, and visual hierarchy
Requirements
- Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of college (preferred)
- Prior experience working on 2–3 UI/UX projects (academic, freelance, internship, or personal projects)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and user-centered design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Ability to create structured wireframes, prototypes, and final UI screens
- Good sense of visual design, typography, spacing, and layout
- Ability to take ownership of design tasks and iterate based on feedback
Nice to Have
- Experience designing mobile-first interfaces
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable components
- Basic understanding of how design translates to development
- Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects and design thinking
