Company Description Essence Innovation is building an AI-powered health app designed to put individuals at the center of their healthcare experience. The platform enables users to seamlessly manage medical records, access real-time health insights, and connect with global healthcare providers in one secure place. By making complete medical histories easily accessible, the app helps users take ownership of their health data. This focus on secure, user-controlled information empowers people to make informed decisions and take greater control of their overall well-being.
Role Description The User Experience Designer will play a key role in shaping intuitive, user-centered experiences for our AI-powered health app. Responsibilities include conducting user research, defining user journeys, and applying design thinking to create solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. The designer will develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs, and collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to refine and implement UX/UI concepts. Day-to-day tasks also involve usability testing, iterating on designs based on feedback and data, and ensuring consistency with our product design guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles to create user-centered digital products.
- Proficiency in User Research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
- Strong Visual Design skills with an eye for layout, typography, color, and accessibility.
- Experience with Prototyping tools and processes to create interactive wireframes and design concepts.
- Familiarity with design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate design rationale clearly.
- Experience designing for healthcare or data-driven applications is a plus.
