For AORBIS Inc., we are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with strong experience across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including purchasing, supplier management, contracts, and logistics. USA Experience is must.
Job Location:
- Ahmedabad (Siddhivinayak Towers, Makarba)
Shift Timings:
- 6PM to 3AM-Monday to Friday
- Work from office
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete procurement cycle: sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, purchasing, contracts, and logistics.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers, especially in USA and China. USA Experience is must.
- Handle price negotiations, cost comparisons, and vendor evaluation.
- Coordinate with internal engineering/design teams to understand material requirements from drawings and specifications.
- Review architectural/engineering drawings to determine procurement needs.
- Manage documentation related to purchase orders, contracts, and shipments.
- Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for international shipments and customs processes.
- Travel, when required, particularly to China for supplier meetings and procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering would be preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
- Proven experience in end-to-end procurement and vendor negotiations.
- Hands-on experience dealing with suppliers in USA and China and familiarity with the Chinese purchasing ecosystem.
- Understanding of US procurement/export regulations and processes.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business needs.
