Role Description The US Tax Trainer will design, deliver, and update training programs on US taxation concepts, tax preparation processes, and compliance standards for internal teams and new hires. This full-time on-site role, based in Bangalore Urban, involves creating structured training materials, including presentations, guides, and case studies, aligned with current IRS regulations and US tax law changes. The trainer will conduct classroom and workshop-style sessions, assess learner performance through tests and practical exercises, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve accuracy and productivity in tax preparation work. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with tax managers to identify knowledge gaps, standardizing best practices, supporting quality review initiatives, and documenting training outcomes to inform continuous improvement. The role also requires staying current with regulatory updates and industry trends and translating them into practical, easy-to-understand training content.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of US individual, corporate, and partnership taxation, including IRS regulations and filing requirements.
- Hands-on experience with tax preparation and review processes in a CPA firm, accounting practice, or offshore tax environment.
- Ability to design and deliver structured training programs, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and learner assessment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and tools; familiarity with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or Xero is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; professional certifications in US tax or accounting are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to adapt training content to evolving regulations and business needs.
