Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations (1040, 1065, 1120)
- Manage multi-state tax filings while ensuring compliance with both federal and state tax laws
- Analyze financial statements and accompanying documents to verify the accuracy of tax returns
- Oversee comprehensive tax engagements for clients based in the US
- Identify opportunities for tax planning and offer strategic advice
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior tax staff
- Ensure all tax returns are filed promptly and deadlines are strictly met
- Collaborate with clients to collect necessary financial information and address any questions
- Keep abreast of updates and changes in US tax legislation and regulations
- Support clients during IRS notices, audits, and tax assessments
