Job-Role: US Tax Associate
Job-location: Bangalore- On Permanent remote mode

Role and Key Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and high-caliber tax professionals with strong expertise in US Individual Taxation (Form 1040), specifically with review experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in leading global firms and the ability to manage complex tax engagements while working closely with US-based teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review complex US Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040) and supporting schedules
• Handle High Net Worth (HNW) individual tax returns
• Review returns involving multi-state taxation and international reporting (FBAR, Forms 5471, 8865, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to US tax regulations and deadlines
• Manage client engagements and communicate directly with US stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Identify tax planning opportunities and risk areas
• Support process improvements and contribute to building a high-performing tax team
Required Qualifications:
• 1 to 5 years of experience in US Individual Tax (Form 1040)
• Mandatory review experience (not just preparation)
• Prior experience with Big 4 or global firms
• Strong understanding of:
o US tax laws and compliance
o Multi-state taxation
o International tax reporting requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work directly with US clients/teams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with HNW individuals / Private Client Services (PCS)
• Exposure to:
o FBAR reporting
o Forms 5471, 8865, 8938, etc.
• CPA / EA / CA or equivalent certification
• Experience managing teams and reviewing large volumes of returns
