Hiring a US Tax Accountant (STRICTLY WORK FROM OFFICE | NIGHT SHIFT | ROHINI SEC 3)
Location: On-site – Delhi, India
Shift: US Shift (Night)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Better Ledger Inc. is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled US Tax Accountant to join our growing team. If you're passionate about US taxation, enjoy solving complex tax matters, and want to work with a fast-paced team serving clients across the United States, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review US Individual, Business, Partnership, and Corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990, etc.)
- Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for tax filings.
- Analyze financial statements and trial balances for tax preparation.
- Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and resolve tax-related queries.
- Research federal and state tax issues and apply relevant tax laws.
- Coordinate with internal bookkeeping and accounting teams.
- Ensure timely filing while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in US Taxation.
- Strong knowledge of US Federal and State tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience with tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProConnect, CCH, or similar.
- Good understanding of QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines during tax season.
Preferred
- Experience working with US CPA firms.
- PTIN knowledge or prior exposure to IRS processes.
- Experience reviewing tax returns and client communications.
