Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced US Recruiter with strong exposure to Engineering and Automotive domain hiring for the US market. The role will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end recruitment for niche and volume engineering positions while partnering closely with US hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end US recruitment lifecycle for Automotive and Engineering roles.
- Source candidates for roles such as Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Validation, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering positions.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, and talent mapping for proactive sourcing.
- Conduct in-depth screening to assess technical competency, domain expertise, and culture fit.
- Coordinate interviews with US-based hiring managers and ensure timely feedback closure.
- Actively manage candidate engagement through offer, negotiation, and onboarding stages.
- Ensure compliance with US hiring practices, documentation, and internal recruitment processes.
- Maintain accurate updates in ATS and share regular hiring status reports with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in US Recruitment, specifically within Engineering / Automotive hiring.
- Strong understanding of US job market, time zones, and hiring practices.
- Hands-on experience recruiting for Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or Engineering services companies.
- Familiarity with engineering skill sets such as CAD/CAE, EV technologies, Testing & Validation, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.
- Proficiency in ATS tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and US sourcing platforms.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting direct client hiring or MSP-based US recruitment models.
- Exposure to niche skill hiring in Automotive Engineering
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced US shift environment.
