Job Description
Shift time: Rotational (monthly basis)
Day shift: - 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Night shift: - 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Working days: Monday to Friday
Work location: Ambattur, Chennai
(no hybrid, no work from home or remote)
Experience: 7 years – 11 years
Job Description:
- Oversee the entire payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
- Verify the input payroll data, such as timesheets, salaries, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
- Generate payroll reports for auditing purposes.
- Understanding of essential payroll terminology, such as gross pay, net pay, deductions, exemptions, withholdings, and tax brackets.
- Onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary payroll information is collected and accurately entered into the payroll system
- Ensure proper processing of the W-4 tax form to determine federal income tax withholding.
- Manage the setup and maintenance of employee direct deposit accounts within the payroll system.
Ensure that direct deposit information is accurately input and securely stored
Along with below responsibilities
- Daily Process Monitoring and Completion
- Client Communication through E-Mails & Calls
- Issue analysis and addressing to team and working on CAPA
- Team Meetings for updates/issues and as and when required.
- Production Maintenance
- Team Meetings on Performance and Attendance
- Preparing/Updating PPTs for Domain Trainings
- SOP Documentation - Preparation and Maintenance
- New Employee Trainings
- Domain Trainings
- Cross Trainings to Existing Employees
- New Process Implementation for existing clients
- New Process Implementation for new clients
- Client Profile Maintenance with Timeline
- Trainings Across Other Departments
- Enrolling team members in Employee Development programs.
- Team member list maintenance
Requirements
Minimum 7-11 Years – US Payroll Activities (Payroll Cycle process, Key payroll Terms, Employee setup (New hire), Tax form (W4), DDP, About wages & OT calculation)
