Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end US payroll processing accurately and within timelines
- Lead and supervise payroll team operations and daily activities
- Ensure compliance with US payroll laws, federal & state taxes, W2, and deductions
- Handle payroll validations, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and stakeholders for smooth payroll operations
- Drive process improvements, controls, and team performance
Required Skills
- Strong experience in US Payroll processing
- Mandatory Team Lead / people management experience
- Knowledge of federal & state tax regulations, garnishments, and payroll compliance
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and advanced Excel
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Commerce / Finance graduate
- Experience in shared services / GCC / BPO environment
- Exposure to ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar payroll tools
