We are actively hiring for US Payment Merchant Taxation professionals to join a growing global payments operations team in Bangalore. If you have experience in payments, taxation processes, merchant operations, or financial operations, this is a great opportunity to build your career in the US payments domain.
π Role Scope β US Payment Merchant Taxation
This role supports US merchant payment taxation processes across multiple modules:
π State Tax Levy Process
β’ Processing IRS / State levy letters
β’ Merchant identification and 24-hour account holds
β’ Handling collections, cheque requests, and accounting disbursements
π Merchant Tax Reporting
β’ Coordination with US customers and IRS
β’ Validation and maintenance of Tax Identification Number (TIN/EIN) details
π Escheatment (Unclaimed Property)
β’ Identification of unclaimed funds
β’ Reporting to US state treasuries in line with regulatory requirements
π‘ Ideal Candidate Profile:
β Experience in Payments / Merchant Operations / Financial Operations / Taxation processes
β Strong analytical and coordination skills
β Comfortable working in high-volume operational environments
β Good communication skills for stakeholder coordination
