Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Process Associate – US Mortgage Operations to handle mortgage loan processing with a higher level of responsibility and accuracy. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the US mortgage lifecycle, strong knowledge of documentation, and the ability to handle complex scenarios independently.
The Senior Process Associate will play a key role in ensuring quality processing, meeting turnaround times, and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end processing of mortgage loan files including loan setup, processing, closing coordination, and post-closing activities.
- Review and analize documents such as income, credit, assets, and appraisal reports.
- Ensure all loan files comply with US mortgage guidelines, lender requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate with underwriters, loan officers, and third-party vendors (title, appraisal, etc.) to ensure smooth loan processing.
- Maintain turnaround time (TAT) and meet service level agreements (SLA).
- Perform quality checks and audits on loan files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support and guide junior team members in processing tasks and issue resolution.
- Assist team leads/managers in reporting, tracking productivity, and process improvements.
- Update and manage loan data in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Arive,Lending Pad, Zenly or similar platforms.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of US Mortgage Operations (Processing, Closing, Post-Closing).
- Good understanding of mortgage documentation and underwriting guidelines.
- Ability to handle complex loan scenarios independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in US Mortgage Operations.
- Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) like Arive, Lending Pad, Zenly etc.
- Prior experience in mortgage BPO/KPO or with US lenders/brokers.
- Experience in quality check or mentoring junior staff is an added advantage.
