Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic HR team. This role focuses on sourcing and recruiting top IT talent, with a specific emphasis on candidates who have experience in or are suitable for government accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT recruitment, proven sourcing strategies, and a deep understanding of technical roles and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and source potential candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify highly qualified candidates for technical roles, focusing on suitability for government-related projects.
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, cultural fit, and understanding of government regulations and environments.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates, ensuring a robust talent pipeline for current and future IT roles, especially in government sectors.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including creating job postings, gathering candidate feedback, conducting offer negotiations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices in IT recruitment, and government hiring standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter in IT, with a strong understanding of technical roles and direct experience recruiting for government accounts.
- Must hands-on government account experinece.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches and social media recruitment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple recruitment projects and timelines effectively.
- Good knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly government contracting and IT.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
