About the Role
We are looking for an experienced US IT Bench Sales / Business Development Manager who can bring new clients, generate new leads, build strong vendor/client relationships, and help place our bench consultants on suitable projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in US IT staffing, bench sales, client acquisition, vendor management, lead generation, and consultant marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads and bring new direct clients, implementation partners, and vendors.
- Market bench consultants to suitable client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Identify new job opportunities through job boards, vendor networks, LinkedIn, referrals, and existing contacts.
- Submit consultant profiles to suitable requirements and coordinate interviews.
- Negotiate rates with vendors and clients.
- Follow up regularly with vendors, clients, and consultants until closure.
- Maintain daily submission, interview, and placement reports.
- Work closely with recruiters to understand consultant skills, availability, visa status, relocation preference, and expected rates.
- Develop long-term client relationships to create repeat business.
- Bring new staffing requirements from clients and vendors.
- Support business growth by expanding the company’s vendor/client database.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in US IT Bench Sales / Business Development.
- Good network of vendors, clients, and implementation partners.
- Ability to bring new leads, new clients, and new requirements.
- Strong knowledge of US staffing process, visa types, tax terms, and rate negotiations.
- Experience working with consultants on H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, USC, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, etc.
- Good communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong understanding of technologies like Java, .NET, DevOps, Data Engineer, QA, BA, Salesforce, SAP, Cloud, AI/ML, etc.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly/monthly targets.
