Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven US Healthcare Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment of Physicians and Surgeons for hospitals based in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing, screening, and placing licensed medical professionals in the US healthcare market, along with a deep understanding of physician hiring and credentialing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment of Physicians, Surgeons, and other licensed healthcare professionals for US hospitals
- Source candidates through job portals, networking, referrals, and healthcare databases
- Screen candidates based on qualifications, licensure, certifications, and experience
- Coordinate interviews with hospital stakeholders and manage the hiring process
- Handle offer discussions and candidate follow-ups until onboarding
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified physicians and specialists
- Track recruitment metrics such as submissions, closures, and turnaround time (TAT)
- Ensure compliance with US healthcare hiring standards and credentialing requirements
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in US Healthcare Recruitment (Physicians / Surgeons hiring preferred)
- Strong understanding of US healthcare system, specialties, and credentialing
- Experience working with hospitals, health systems, or staffing agencies
- Proven track record of successful placements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work in night shifts aligned with US time zones
- Strong sourcing and screening expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hiring for similar US markets
- Existing network/database of physicians and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
