US Healthcare AR Analyst – Ambulance Billing

We are currently hiring an Ambulance Billing Representative (2–5 years experience) to support a U.S.-based Emergency Medical Services (EMS) organization. This role provides exposure to U.S. healthcare billing, ambulance transport reimbursement, and insurance claims management within a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit ambulance transport claims to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and self-pay patients.
• Review ePCR documentation to validate medical necessity and billing data prior to claim submission.
• Perform payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial resolution to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Communicate with insurance companies, clearinghouses, and patients regarding claim status and billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with CMS ambulance fee schedules, payer rules, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain accurate billing records and collaborate with EMS operations and revenue cycle teams to resolve billing issues.
Requirements
• 2–5 years of ambulance billing / healthcare billing experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing
• Understanding of ICD-10 coding and ambulance transport modifiers
• Familiarity with EMS billing systems such as TriTech, ZOLL, Response Billing, or RescueNet preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills
