About CitedSpy
CitedSpy helps companies understand and improve how they appear in AI search.
As people increasingly use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and other AI assistants to discover and compare products, CitedSpy helps brands understand when they are mentioned, how they are represented, which competitors appear, and what they can do to improve their visibility.
We’re building a new category around AI Visibility / GEO and are looking for someone to help us build the US market.
The Role
We’re looking for a US GTM Intern who wants hands-on experience building an early-stage startup's US business.
You’ll work directly with the founders and get exposure to the full GTM process — from finding potential customers to starting conversations, learning from them and helping close early customers.
You will:
- Research and identify potential US customers
- Reach out to founders, marketers, agencies and GTM teams
- Start conversations and book meetings
- Help with outbound campaigns and experiments
- Join customer calls and understand their problems
- Follow up with prospects and help move opportunities forward
- Research competitors and the US market
- Share customer feedback with the founders and product team
- Help build simple sales and outreach playbooks
Who We’re Looking For
This is a good fit if you have some experience in sales, business development, marketing, growth or a startup and want to go deeper.
You should:
- Be comfortable communicating with people over email, LinkedIn and calls
- Be curious and willing to learn
- Be proactive rather than waiting for instructions
- Have some experience with B2B sales, outreach, growth or marketing
- Be interested in AI, SaaS, marketing and startups
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Be able to work with US customers and understand their business context
You don't need to be an expert in AI or GEO. We’ll help you understand the product and the problem.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll get hands-on experience with:
- US B2B sales
- Startup GTM
- Outbound and prospecting
- Customer discovery
- AI / GEO
- SaaS sales
- Partnerships
- Building GTM experiments from scratch
You’ll work directly with the founders, rather than being one person in a large sales team.
What Success Looks Like
The goal is simple: Help us find and win our first set of US customers.
You’ll experiment, talk to customers, learn what works and help us turn it into a repeatable process.
If you perform well, there is an opportunity to take on more ownership as we grow.
Location: Hyderabad - WFO
Role: Internship to full time
Focus: US GTM / Sales / Business Development
